Manual handling is any transportation or supporting of a load by one or more employees and includes: Lifting, Putting down, Pushing, Pulling, Carrying or moving a load which by reason of its characteristics or unfavourable ergonomic conditions involves risk, particularly back injury, to employees.
Master training College’s Manual handling course complies with Part 4 Chapter 2 of the “General Application Regulation Regulations 2007, Manual Handling of Loads”, whereby employers are responsible for providing training to any staff engaged in manual handling and ensure employees are safely handling loads.
Certification:
Manual Handling Certificates are awarded to all participants on successful completion of practical assessment & theory examination. Valid for 3 years.
